Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service?
World of Lilliputs3D started out as a company making personalized 3D figurines and frames. We viewed our products as the next step in personalization and gifting. Extensive research, travel across most of Asia, and long brainstorming sessions led to the formation of a 360° business plan for WOL3D.
All our services can be availed under-one roof in our new 4-storeyed facility in Mumbai. Our aim is to be pioneers and leaders in the 3D printing space and we view the WOL building as the central hub of 3D printing in India.
What all challenges did you face and what were your strategies to them?
Creating the right team and tying up with various international brands for sole distributorship in India. By reading more about the industry and traveling various countries and meeting the machine manufacturers.
How has your journey been so far, any plans for expansion?
Journey has been incredible and there is something new always as it is a very new and next generation technology.
We plan to have more than 30 Resellers in PAN India
Did you face any specific challenges while starting the venture?
Every venture has challenges like the right people, right product and right target. We were lucky enough to overcome these in a short span of time and now we are going smooth.
What piece of advice would you like to give to the aspiring youth who wish to pursue their dream of becoming an entrepreneur?
Believe in what you do and do what you believe in. Be passionate about what you do and set a clear vision.
According to you, what are the top three essential skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Passion, Integrity and goal oriented.
How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?
We have created an entire hub of 3d printing in Mumbai with best in class amenities and in this manner we give the best to our employees and we work in coordination and we have dedicated team handling them.
How do you manage the work-life balance?
I am lucky to have my Husband along with me in this business hence we get enough time together. We believe in not entertaining any kind of work stuff after our office hours.
What are your views and opinions towards the ambiguous need to promote women entrepreneurship and women empowerment in India?
According to me in this democratic country. Equality, Rights and Freedom of speech is to be given for women entrepreneurship and women empowerment in India.
