Introduction: Tell us about yourself and your background.
I have completed my graduations in Chemistry and am pursuing my masters right now. My academics always had a positive graph but there was always this burning fire to shine; to float out from mediocrity. At the age of 21 years I have had enough experiences to make me understand the importance of being an independent and vocal woman. That’s when I came across CODWHEO. And CODWHEO surprisingly seemed to represent a part of me.
Tell us about the company you have set up – when did you set it up, what services do you provide?
CODWHEO organizes corporate tours, college industrial visits, nature trails, hiking and small treks, events almost all over India. We make it a point that we serve you the tradition and culture of that particular place by arranging engaging acts by locals. The idea is to touch maximum hearts and set them free and independent. And travel is the best to stick to being independent. We at CODWHEO are a family working towards making tourism cheaper and accesscible to all. It gives me immense pleasure and inner satisfaction while i am working independently in a thing I strongly believe in,i.e,travel. Ofcourse managing studies and work becomes tedious but with such understanding family of CODWHEO all it gives me is happiness.
Why did you set up this venture? / What drove you to become an Entrepreneur?
There was a hunger for exploring within us. When we found the same hunger in other common middle class public we thought of coming up with something in which finances are not a hurdle and hence CODWHEO! At first convincing people that we provide quality at a subdued rate was the most challenging part.
What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?
Communicating and involving family in business activities helped a lot. Later on, with time as people experienced our quality, word of mouth did it all.
Please share your future goals?
Codwheo is not just another tour and travels company. It is a travel agency specially designed for presenting the various cultures of India and has exclusive service above the usual standard at a very reasonable rate. We mainly specialize in introducing the history, nature, art, cuisine, music, dance, temples etc. to groups as well as individual tourists is our future goal.

Did you face any financial challenges whilst setting up Codwheo tours and Events?
Till date we have not fetched any kind of investments, we fulfilled our requirements from our savings itself. The reason was to know the strength of our product, now that we are very confident of our product we are looking forward to it (Investments).
What can best empower the women of India– education, politics or business?
Without education, we cannot go far. It gives you a power to make your own decisions, stand up for your rights and say no to regressive practices. It also helps you access suitable academic and economic opportunities which brings economic independence to women. The best protection any woman can have … is courage
What are your views and opinions towards the ambiguous need to promote women entrepreneurship and women empowerment in India?
Honestly, Women are the backbone of any nation. And they are empowering themselves. Whether it is a rural canvas or technical arena or seat of power – politics, their presence and participation is inevitable and unquestionable. It’s happening, right here, right now. There’s no time to wait and watch
