Success Stories:
Her Story Her Way

"I'm Abhilasha, Founder and CEO of Blue Sky Analytics (Fulbright scholar | Yale | IIT), a Climate-Tech start-up using satellite data and AI to build environmental monitoring and climate-risk assessment products. With over 8 years of work experience in private equity, big data analytics and environmental policy, I learnt that with the accelerating climate crisis, high res environmental data was the need of the hour for informed decisions by businesses, governments, individuals.

At age 22, I worked as a Research Associate at J-PAL, working on air pollution regulation with the Ministry of Environment, India. I also served as an intern in Dublin building flexible solar cells, an Investment Associate at GoldenSet and a Data Manager at PEG-Ghana. These experiences highlighted the systemic challenges in the space and solidified my belief that climate action was not someone else’s job but our own. Hence, I returned to India in 2018 and founded Blue Sky Analytics with Kshitij as I believe data has the capacity to change an entire ecosystem.

Blue Sky has been on a rocketship journey since, from closing its seed round, becoming a 25 member team across India, US, getting partners like MIT Solve, ESA to launching BreeZo, AQ dataset at 1km2 res. We are focussing on partnering with many organisations now so that our tech and data facilitates sustainable decision-making." 15 "Some Milestones are
