How can someone start the same business as yours in terms of investment, material procurement, production, and marketing etc Just follow your dreams and everything will fall in place. The salon and beauty industry is an industry which will never die down so get the right investors to invest in your business and get started. Every city has a salon equipment and product store and with the internet you can just surf and get get all info on that , Initial marketing is required to spread the word after that it's just word of mouth.
Please share your future goals. My future goal is to expand into the whole sink and beauty side of the industry, right now we only specialize in hair styling and makeup.
What all challenges did you face and what were your strategies to overcome them? Basic challenges you face in smaller cities are only educating clients on grooming themselves and the usage of the great products, that are available and removing the fear they have of using the advanced products to age old house remedies.... So it's a constant challenge to educate them. Business wise its constant challenge to keep your week days as packed as your weekends so you have to come up with some packages to make the balance.
What's your opinion about whether women can have it all? Yes! They can ... It's just all in the mind ... Fix a goal and work hard and sincere
What piece of advice would you like to give to the aspiring youth who wish to pursue their dream of becoming an entrepreneur? Dream big, have patience, work smart and sincerely, and the world will be yours
According to you, what are the top three essential skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur? You have to be an all-rounder period!
How have you managed the work-life balance and has the family been supportive? If you work smart ... Work and personal life balance is easy to attain and yes my family is and have been very supportive.
What can best empower the women of India– education, politics or business? Education.....Even if it's just a skill.......The rest will come automatically.
