Sheetal carried a dream with her for many years to be a part of her and make a difference there. She has achieved this through her passion for business. Read how she did it below…
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your work. I totally live up to my name, a cool persona emanating positivity and cheerfulness! Born and brought up in the historic city of Prayag (Allahabad), an independent & strong headed person. Kreon is my first baby. I started it to unleashing the fashion, home decor and statement jewelry for women, keeping alive the taste of modern women. My selective sourcing offers wide choices- from traditional ethnic & classics to indi-chic contemporary as well as junk jewelry.
What difficulties did you face while making your dream a reality? Hailing from a business family, it's hard to resist from entrepreneurship but at the same time there are lot of expectations and uncertainties. Initially it was tough to pursue the passion while doing the job but it never stopped me to sketch new drafts & designs each day. The immense support and confidence shown by my husband was the key reason that these challenges never got in my way and I was able to manage it very well. Rest is history!
How did you get the idea of starting your own company? Style comes naturally to me and hence when the idea of starting something on own crossed my mind, which even corresponded to my persona and attitude, I grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Being a Woman myself, I understand the dilemma one goes through when it comes to choosing something that's evergreen, liked by all yet unique & most importantly suits your style, personality as well as the pocket.
What is your USP? At Kreon, our constant effort has been to provide variety in quality products from different regions across India. It includes a wide range with premier quality & elegance.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs? Find your inner compass. Be guided by passion and work with purpose.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times? Everything in life is temporary, so I try not to waste my energy fighting difficult times that I have no control over. Instead I put my energies into creating and achieving positive outcomes.
